If you're looking for a quiet place, this is it. And the staff is so friendly and helpful as I've never seen it before.

We were there with 8 people. Nice, cozy and new dining room in the "hut style". We ate wild goulash and wandering schnitzel: delicious, good portions and delivered quickly. All in all, we were very satisfied and the innkeeper and service were really nice.

Bumped into this great restaurant while hiking. Friendly reception without reservation. What is not to be taken for granted at this time: friendly and cordial service with food recommendations. Would come back here again and again. We say thank you

No visit to be recommended until the end of Corona. By saving staff, "walk-in customers" are only offered 2 dishes and hotel guests with half board are preferred. Staff present try to make the best of the situation.

Small excursion on Sunday ... over a forest path, you get to a very attractive hotel with a restaurant. Since we were out spontaneously, we hadn't made a reservation. A very friendly waiter, didn't send us away. You don't experience it very often in these times! The ambience is very tastefully decorated, the food was very good and arrived quickly! We felt very comfortable! We'd love to come again!

Wonderful! Great service, very good food and a unique location. We'll definitely come back here. Beware of driving about 3.5 kilometers over forest roads, so you might think you are wrong here - hold on, it's worth it!

Waiter completely overwhelmed. Walked past us 5 times until we asked for drinks but were treated rather unfriendly. "Don't you see that we're working" .... I was allowed to fetch the menu myself. The nice lady in the service should think twice about whether gastronomy is really her core business. Unfriendly and overwhelmed when the restaurant is half full. The menu is straightforward (which is not bad) and the prices are already peppered and not justified for the small portion of wild goulash. Peppered trout and frozen vegetables ..... The approach is really not that nice, but we knew that beforehand. We won't be coming back here. Recommendation? NO

Very lonely for me. I like the access via a gravel road, "adventurous"! But no problem with an SUV. Restaurant very nice, staff and food offer very good. For me always a destination!

An adventurous journey, potholes and forest path are compensated by a unique ambience. It is not a 5 star kitchen. The waiter always wanted to be funny, and he succeeded in some cases. If you don't like it, just don't go there.

This beautiful hotel is located in the middle of the forest and can be reached via an approx. 3.5 km long forest path. This is a bit bumpy here and there, but not a hurdle at a reasonable speed. We had booked a classic room for two nights. The hotel and the room were lovingly furnished and clean! Hotel and room have their charm, so that you feel comfortable. The staff of this house is very manageable, but warm and friendly. Every morning the tables were lovingly set up with breakfast. Sausage, cheese, fresh fruit, jam, honey, rolls, etc. There was also a small table with muesli, yogurt, juice and bread. The friendly employee prepared egg dishes as desired - scrambled eggs with bacon, fried eggs or a boiled egg. A meal in the evening was also possible. The menu is small, but everyone should find something here too. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. We felt very comfortable in this house and would be happy to come back. Thanks again to the great staff. We hope that the operators of this house appreciate it accordingly, because good staff is very difficult to find today and only with them does your house stand or fall!

After a three-kilometer drive on a better forest path, you come to a very sophisticated, small hotel. It's really in the middle of the forest. However, the standard is really top! It is furnished in a modern country house style and impresses with its relaxation and tranquility. The room was completely okay, clean and comfortable! The staff is always friendly and helpful. There is nothing wrong with the breakfast - there is everything you need and the very friendly service fries / cooks fresh egg dishes. If you are looking for a shortcoming, you could name the journey to the hotel and the more “normal” food in the restaurant. You could still turn the price / performance screw. The food tastes good, but there is no “wow factor”. Otherwise we'd love to come back! It is definitely worth a trip and highly recommended to anyone looking for peace, forest and relaxation!

Yesterday by chance and spontaneously turned there by a sign. The driveway is a bit unusual as it is a forest path, but can be done with any normal car or motorcycle. It's just not a racetrack. The property is very beautiful and of high quality and renovated with great taste. Absolutely quiet and idyllic. The host is very nice and easy-going. The menu was small, but the food was very good and reasonably priced. We would love to come back!

We were there two days ago and were looking for a spontaneous parking space for our car to stay overnight. The lady in the restaurant was so super friendly! We then ate there and the schnitzel was delicious. Thank you very much for the overnight stay!

In the middle of nature. Nice room with all the trimmings. Nice view from the room on the meadow and forest. Right from the hotel on the walking routes. Also nice and helpful staff and good food, so a good cook. This came to us to recommend the menu outside the menu and for good reason! Enjoy, you do here!

Very nice excursion bar in the middle of the Harz. Often visited by "locals" which is a good indicator of quality. Food very tasty and staff exceptionally friendly. Everything was very well maintained. Highly recommended.

We had the romance offer for one night and were very at peace. The ladies from the service were totally lovely and the food was very delicious. The rooms are very cozy and the ambience in general is very nice. The location is super nice and quiet. We will definitely be back. Keep it up!

We have been here in early March. A wonderfully beautiful place in the forest, where you come by driving a few km along a path. The renovated building looks beautiful and meets today's requirements. Because there is no mobile internet, you assume that there is good wifi, but the WiFi is quite slow. The rooms are spacious, neat and clean (as in the rest of the building), the staff are friendly, the breakfast is more than adequate for a good start to the day. You can also go there for an evening meal. The deer are regularly found in the large back yard, where there is a feeding place for them. In short .. a must.

A very pleasant oasis in the middle of the Harz forest. Good rooms, good food and very nice hospitality.
